In Praise of the Hand

Gently place your hand on yourself. Feel your face with your palm, with your fingertips, with all the skin of your hand.

You are at the heart of the “Hand Press,” a Japanese ritual in which the hand becomes the ultimate tool of beauty. Japan, a culture of doing and gesture, imbues the hand with precious powers.

Examine the face. Activate circulation. Revive the complexion. Reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Enhance the absorption of active ingredients. Without irritation, without cotton pads, skin-to-skin. Sequence.

Warm the product between your palms to facilitate absorption. Apply the product to the skin using gentle pressure, in the following order: cheeks, forehead and chin, eyelids, bridge of the nose, jawline, and neck. Maintain pressure for ten seconds in each area.

Use your fingertips on sensitive areas. Release slowly to avoid irritating the skin. The pressure should be gentle, not forceful—a caressing dialogue between the hand and the skin.

Remember, "having time to be yourself is your most precious beauty secret."
